Inspired by Amelie

Our photographer friends, The Emerics, love the movie Amelie so much they considered naming their daughter after her. Instead of that they settled on putting together a beautiful styled shoot inspired by the movie. It is always a pleasure to work with Jessie and Jason but it was even more exciting to help bring their vision for this movie inspired shoot together. They incorporated quiet a bit from the movie especially about how Amelie enjoyed the small thing such as sticking her hand in sacks of grain or cracking the top the creme brûlée with a spoon.

Gina at Red Rock Country Club let us use their beautiful courtyard space to transform into a dinner party for 6. We custom made a ruffled burlap table topper to give the table a great presence in the space. A long runner style centerpiece filled the center of the table with florals in red, burgundies, purples, and lots of green. Succulents, artichokes and cabbage were all included into the centerpiece to give it pops of unexpected surprises. Jessie used artichokes as place card holders inspired by a line in the movie. AmelieShoot_HiRes-35
