Andrea and Mike’s Modern Metallics Wedding April 2012

I met Andrea and Mike in the lobby of the Red Rock Casino in November 2011 to chat with them about their upcoming April 2012 Wedding. Instantly when hearing Andrea’s vision for her wedding I was so excited to play a small role in their big day. Andrea wanted a cool modern wedding loaded with muted metallics, fluffy peonies, and succulents.

Their ceremony and reception took place in the One Eighty Suite at the Red Rock Casino and Hotel. The room was incredible with a view of all of the valley and the mountains. It served as the perfect setting for the modern and intimate vibe for the wedding.

We used gilded succulents for the bouts and corsages. The wrist corsages were on gold chain bracelets that were a huge hit with the moms. For the groom’s bout we accented it with a tiny gold chain and some rhinestone embellishments.

The couple wanted to create a dramatic background to their ceremony so we used groupings of cylinders and stacked bowls with white florals and large gilded succulents to create a modern elegant look. After the ceremony we cleared some space on this table for the cake and it served as the center statement area for the reception.

Andrea and Michael it was such a pleasure working with. Thank you for being wonderful!
