The first weekend in September we had the opportunity to travel out to Chicago to assist one of our dear friends, Jenna Bruhn of Avant Gardenia Floral Design with an amazing wedding. Danielle’s colors were deep plum with accents of slate and canary. The wedding was held at the Adler Planetarium which has soaring floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.
The bride looked stunning in her Amsale gown and jeweled headband. For her bridal bouquet, we did 3 varieties of plum callas for some depth with some unique plum orchids to accent. It was finished off with dusty miller to bring in a gray hue and wrapped in plum ribbon with a brooch to compliment the one on her gown.
Thank you so much Jenna for having us out to see how things are done in Chicago, we can’t wait for the next chance we have to work together.
If you’re planning on tieing the knot in the Chicago area make sure to check out Avant Gardenia Floral Designs. Jenna does truly amazing work and provides each of her brides the highest quality of service.
